WASHINGTON, D.C. - In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, (CPSC), Macy's Merchandising Group, Inc. of New York, N.Y., is voluntarily recalling about 500 Greendog® girl's knit coveralls. The snaps on the legs of the garment can detach, posing a choking hazard to young children.
No injuries or incidents have been reported. This recall is being conducted to prevent the possibility of injury.
The recalled coverall is off-white, with long sleeves and pastel stripes on the sleeves and legs, and a floral motif on the right-hand side of the chest. It is sold with a matching striped cap. The item was sold in sizes 0-12 months, and has the style number 1053EGR410 printed on the hang tag.
Macy's sold the coveralls nationwide between August and October of 2006 for $32.
Consumers should stop using these sets immediately and return them to the store where purchased for a refund or store credit.
